Inspired by Tony Bennetts song "I Left My Heart In San Francisco", the "Hearts of San Francisco" Project launched in 2004 and several hearts have been painted to be displayed for a period of a year at various locations in San Francisco then auctioned off for charity. This one sits in Union Square, San Francisco as of October 2012.
